Building Stronger Families & Communities
"Some of the best partnerships begin in the most unexpected ways".
Our journey started when we found a bus on Marketplace. Through that purchase, we met Mason. What began as a simple Market place purchase introduced us to someone whose kindness we'll always be grateful for.
Not long afterwards, while we were preparing to close our indoor venue and relocate to our new new outdoor field, Nathan became seriously ill and spent time in hospital. During his recovery, there was so much that simply couldn’t get done.
Without hesitation, Mason offered to help. Whether it was towing vehicles, helping move equipment or lending a hand whenever we needed it, he was always just a phone call away.
As Amanda often says, “Mason was a lifesaver during a time our family we’ll never forget.”
Some time later, Mason introduced us to Stephen and Dads Community. As we learned more about the organisation and its mission, we knew we’d found something that aligned perfectly with our own values—bringing people together, building genuine connections and supporting our local community.
Today, Crossfire is proud to be a Community Supporter of Dads Community, contributing $200 every month to help support the important work they do.
Together, we’ve now hosted three Dads Community Gel Ball Events, with our fourth event already planned for July. These days have become some of our favourite events, bringing people together through fun, laughter and genuine connection.
In addition, $5 from every Half Day Pass sold at each Dads Community event is donated to the Shout a Dad a coffee initiative, helping support this important community fundraising program.

Looking back, it's funny how life works. We brought a bus for the new field, met Mason, discovered Dads Community and found an organisation whose values align so closely with our own. Today we're proud to support that mission and play a small part in helping build stronger families and communities.
